ABOUT ME

Hello!

I’m Armend Ajdini, a passionate 22 year old with big dreams from Skopje, Macedonia.

I’ve always been creative ever since I can remember, always sketching something, always building stuff out of whatever I could find, and god forbid I had a camera in my sight… I would pick it up and take pictures till the battery ran out.

As I grew older, my passion for creating grew with me. I kept experimenting and trying new things until I found something that I truly loved. And that for me was video editing. The great thing is, I managed to find a way to transform my passion into a career.

And as they say… “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life”. Well I’ve been a professional video editor for about 4 years now and it’s safe to say I still haven’t “worked” for a second of my life!

Photography

Another big passion of mine is photography. Which is lucky, cause it really does tie in to my career as a video editor.

It’s how I learned about color grading, composition, color theory, file types, resolution and so on…

I’ve recently gotten more serious about it and bought some gear to help me elevate my game. Although It’s been a hobby for a long long time, dating back to the days when I was a kid. I would use any kind of camera, and always experiment with ways to get a cool shot.

I have to say I enjoy wildlife photography the most, but in reality I love all types of environments. Most of the time it’s not about “what” you’re shooting, but “how” you’re doing it.

  • Photography is an art of observation. it's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.

Interests

Along with the creative side, I have a mechanical, systematic side. Which expresses itself in my huge interest for cars. I love to construct and deconstruct, upgrade, and modify cars.

The passion I have for automobiles and anything related to them is second to none, even when compared to editing.

It was instilled in my mind as a kid. It started from Hot Wheels, then it was video games, then motorsports, and finally the day I got my drivers license. That same day I got my first car, which I still have and love to this day. And the passion still hasn’t stopped growing.

These two sides work hand in hand for me,
I see things from my creative side being put to use into my systematic side and vice versa.
